„The Three Lives of Lucy Cabrol” — opowieść Johna Bergera w konwencji tryptyku — w adaptacji MTC za pomocą obrazów i dźwięków prowadzi widza przez ten dziwnie magiczny tekst.
Ta krótka opowieść stanowi atmosferyczną scenerię wyczarowaną za pomocą ruchu i dialogów przywołujących na myśl antyczny chór, by odegrać trzy skrajnie różne życia Lucy.
Ta prosta w środkach opowieść ma w klarowny sposób przekazać esencję historii, jaką stworzył Berger. Ruch ciał i abstrakcyjne środki przekazu pracują tu w duecie z pozbawioną ozdobników harmonią ludzkich głosów.
Sztuka „The Three Lives of Lucie Cabrol” opowiada o starciu natury z cywilizacją oraz uniwersalnej łamigłówce, jaką przeżywa indywidualność i odmienność w zderzeniu z tłumem i uległością wobec ogólnie obowiązujących reguł.

Adapted by Maybe Theatre Company from John Berger’s triptych style story, The Three Lives of Lucy Cabrol is an interpretation of this strangely magical text through imagery and voices.
Using movement combined with a chorus approach to dialogue, this short piece conjures up an eerily atmospheric back drop on which Lucy’s three, radically different lives are played out.
Physically simple yet clear, the piece attempts to convey the essence of Berger’s tale through use of the actor’s body as an abstract means of communication, working in tandem with the unadorned harmony created by the human voice.
Thematically, The Three Lives of Lucie Cabrol touches upon issues such as the clash between nature and civilization and the universal conundrum of individuality and otherness against the crowd and compliance..
